Guided Rainforest Night Hike

Discover a nocturnal adventure through the lush vegetation of the La Fortuna rainforest, guided by our expert naturalist. As night falls, you’ll explore the jungle's mysteries and experience the thrill of discovering its hidden wonders after dark.

This tour offers a unique opportunity to observe the nocturnal wildlife that comes to life when the sun sets. You’ll have the chance to encounter a wide variety of creatures, such as spiders, snakes, frogs, bats, and more. Our knowledgeable guide will point out these fascinating species while sharing interesting facts about their behavior, habitat, and role in the ecosystem.

As we hike through the forest, the sounds of the jungle at night—such as animal calls and insect chatter—will immerse you in a sensory experience unlike any other. The darkness of the night will heighten your senses, and you'll be amazed by the different sights and sounds that unfold along the way.

What to bring: 

• Comfortable clothing, ideally long pants and a long-sleeved shirt
• Insect repellent
• Closed-toe shoes (mandatory)
• Camera with flash
• Poncho or rain jacket (in case of rain)
