This tour is best for ages 10 and up, although small children can sit on the back of their parent's pedal board. Swimming experience is required

Pedal Board on Lake Arenal

This PedalBoard tour will take you gliding across the calm and peaceful waters of Lake Arenal which sits at the foot of the breathtaking Arenal Volcano, just outside of La Fortuna. Although it sounds familiar to Stand Up Paddle Boarding, it is very different. In fact, the board is powered by the strongest part of your body, your legs, and allows you to grasp the firm handlebars for balance, making this activity easy and fun for people of all ages.

Next, we will take you to Pure Trek’s headquarters & gardens where you’ll enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch. After lunch, we’ll whisk you off to our canyon, about a 20-minute drive outside La Fortuna. Then transfer to 4×4 trucks for an exciting short drive into the rainforest to our ranch house to gear up. Then you are off for an afternoon of excitement and exhilaration! Enjoy waterfall rappelling in our spectacular rainforest canyon.
