Immerse yourself in the flavors of Costa Rican cuisine with a guided farm tour, organic ingredient harvesting, and a hands-on cooking class to prepare the iconic "Casado" dish.

This culinary experience will start with a guided tour of our backyard farm where we will together harvest all the fresh, organic ingredients for today’s cooking class. We will learn about organic gardening and Costa Rica’s favorite vegetables, fruits and spices. All collected produce plus passion will be our special ingredients for the delicious meal we will prepare incl. handmade “Tortillas”, “Empanadas”, “Picadillos” & ‘Patacones”.

All of these recipes will make up one of Costa Rica’s most typical dishes: “Casado”. A meal where you will savor a variety of flavors ~ rice, beans, meat, plantains, picadillo, salad, and our special homemade sauce. Your “Casado” is accompanied by a fresh fruit juice; also called “Batida” & a Mojito. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available.

This tour ends with a visit of our pond where you can witness 3 types of frogs singing a jungle serenade as goodbye.
